Self Image and the Ostomate
The next time I am together with my daughters, they will be crazy busy working mamas, driving everyone from one point to another, fulfilling their goals of being the best they can be. But I/we had an amazing moment in time, and for that, I am eternally grateful, and the memories we made are ours forever!
One is never too young to have the ability to cope with life, especially when her life presents challenges well-beyond her years. Jessie, in the interest of full disclosure, is my darling granddaughter. She is soon to be 14 years old, and has had to tackle more than many three times her age have had to do.
Here is what I say…if you are blessed to love and adore your partner, who loves and adores you, then you will travel the road to a joyful connection, enjoying the closeness that you share because you are able to do so. You have the ability to dance together and move together as never before, all the while knowing that your bond is even stronger than you ever thought possible. You are amongst those of us who know that intimacy, that beautiful gift we give each other begins in the mind, and the body just follows along.
