Self Image and the Ostomate
So fighting through, always searching for an answer, never being willing to accept what doesn’t seem right, well, those are the times when I am grateful that I am too stubborn to stop. And I am hoping you are the same…the only thing stopping you is…YOU!
We all move from the “nest” into which we are born through life, bringing our experiences, taking our experiences to our next step on the road. Unlike a board game, however, we cannot look at the entire journey and see the challenges along the way. Blooming at each juncture, if possible, is, for me, a desirable goal and a wonderful gift.
This year, the year in front of us, with the unknowns larger than imaginable, my resolution is strong: whenever possible, I will acknowledge my gratitude and appreciation for all of my gifts and for my strength and happiness, and I will do all I can to help others acknowledge theirs.
